Sri Lanka’s main airport in Katunayake will suspend arriving passenger operations for two weeks an official said, as the country tightens controls to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Arriving passenger will not be accepted from March 18 midnight until further notice, Director Operations Airport and Aviation Services Limited Director Shehan Sumanasekara said.
“Cargo flight will be accommodated as usual,” he said.
Transit and departures will be operated.
The decision taken on a directive from President Rajapaksa, Sumanasekara said.
